Privacy & advertising
What the Atlas does—and does not—collect.
World Cup Atlas is a static archive with no user accounts, contact forms, comments, or application database. That does not mean every service involved in a visit is data-free: hosting and advertising providers may process technical information under their own policies.
The Atlas application
Static pages and browser-side search
Archive pages are prebuilt static HTML. Optional archive search downloads a static index and compares your search text in your browser; the Atlas application does not send each search term to a server or save it to an Atlas account, database, or browser profile. The application does not run first-party analytics.
Your browser still makes ordinary requests to fetch pages and files. The site is hosted through Cloudflare, which may process network and request information for delivery and security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Google advertising
Cookies, ads, and your choices
The site's pages include Google AdSense code. When Google ads are served, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. The AdSense setup and participating vendors may change; this notice should be updated if additional ad networks are enabled.
Google's publisher guidance explains these disclosures in its AdSense required-content policy. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or visit aboutads.info opt-out choices. Google's broader advertising technologies notice describes its practices.
Consent and regional settings
Publisher responsibilities
Google says publishers serving personalized ads to users in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland must use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Review the current Google AdSense CMP guidance and configure any required consent messages in your AdSense account. This information page is not itself a consent banner, and the publisher remains responsible for applicable requirements.
